Becker Knife and Tool Necker

Becker Knives have been manufactured by KaBar for over a year now. One of their first offerings under KaBar was a neck knife called the Becker Necker.

The Necker is everything you would expect from Becker and KaBar. It is made of 1095 and fairly thick for a neck knife at .165". The blade is a useable 3.25" long and it has an overall length of 6.75".

The handle of the Necker has a built-in wire breaker. I'm not convinced of it's need on a neck knife, but it's included none the less. I've heard of complaints about the wire breaker having sharp edges. Since it is on the end of the handle, your hand should not contact it in normal use.

Becker and KaBar wisely designed the Necker with a wide blade that has a full flat grind. The combination makes the knife a very effective cutting tool.

Included with the Necker is an injection molded sheath. The Necker sells in the neighborhood of $35, which makes it a bargain.
