New Swiss Army Knife
On September 8, Victorinox posted a press release to their website stating that they were chosen to manufacture the new Swiss Army Soldier's knife. The knife wil be the model of '08. The previous Swiss Army knife was adopted in 1961.
The knife differs from previous models mostly in its' contoured handle shape and it has an oval cutout in the knife blade for one-handed opening. The handle scales are also green instead of the usual red found on Swiss Army knives.
There is no word on pricing or availability to commercial markets at this time.
