Zero Tolerance Knives 0550

For those interested, Zero Tolerance Knives recently released an update on the awaited 0550 model. They have been unable to obtain the steel that was originally intended to be used in the knife, Vanax 35. Zero Tolerance has instead opted to use the new CPM-S35VN, which is essentially an improved version of the popular CPM-S30V stainless steel.

The 0550 is a collaboration between Zero Tolerance and Rick Hinderer. It has a 3.5" blade with a G10 and titanium handle. The titanium scale forms the lock bar of the frame lock.

The 0551, which is a sprint run of the collaboration has already been released. The 0551 featured Elmax steel.

The street price of the 0550 should be in the area of $200.
