Alessi Ankle Holster Review: Part 2

In a previous post, I discussed the Alessi ankle holster, from Lou Alessi. It is probably the best ankle holster on the market for use with tennis or dress shoes.

However, many people do not know that Alessi also makes an extension for his ankle holster to use with boots. It is good news for boot wearers since there are very few ankle holsters on the market that work with boots.

The extension is essentially a piece of leather with hook and loop backing that extends the integral leather strap on the ankle holster enough to work with boots. The extension that I have is about 9” in length.

The only caveat with the extension is that it does not work well with 6” or mid-height boots. It works best with 8” boots.
